Amateur astronomers from Bangalore and Chennai will be meeting at Yelagiri Hills - About 200KM from Bangalore enroute to Madras. The hill station is very close to Vaniyambadi and Jolarpet.
Event Schedule (Tentative)
Departure : Saturday, 14th Morning
Lunch : Krishnagiri, TN
Reach Yelagiri : 5PM. Sightseeing session for a few whilst we setup our equipment at the Hotel ( Hotel O Nila, Yelagiri )
Observation all night long
A little trek (To Swamimalai ) / rest / sleep in the morning.
Depart to Bangalore : Late Morning / Afternoon
Reach Back Home : Late evening on Sunday.
Dr Suresh, Dr Anand and many other friends of ours from TANASTRO will also be joining us. Currently there're 10 + individuals registered for this trip.
