Guest Lecture @ Dr. Raja Ramanna Children’s Science Club

As Part of IYA2009, Manjunath KP ( BAS member ) invited Bangalore Astronomical Society to deliver a guest talk to students of Dr. Raja Ramanna Children’s Science Club. On 26.July.2009 @ Vivekavardhini School, Bangalore.

Topic that was choose was about Scientific approach and theories in Astronomy, where I discussed about various aspects on how to look at a problem statement, and create theories to answer the observations.
Phases of moon, solar system formation, Moon formation and a few examples were explained. it was a interactive session where the students explained about their theories and understanding.

On the same day there was a quiz organized and BAS members assisted the team to conduct the quiz. Thanks to BAS volunteers for their time and support.
